Ben is the Chief Revenue Officer for Linea Energy.  He brings 25 years of experience in trading, portfolio management and commercialization in the commodity and renewable energy markets.

Prior to joining Linea Energy, Ben was Regional Vice President for Brookfield Renewable from 2018 to 2022. As part of the leadership team, he oversaw the commercial operations (trading, optimization, origination, regulatory and governmental affairs) of a large and diverse portfolio of renewable and energy storage assets.

Before Brookfield Renewable, Ben co-founded Nokomis Investments, a boutique commodity futures fund with a quantitative strategy focused on seasonality in energy and other commodities.

From 1997 to 2014, Ben held trading and leadership roles at firms including Credit Suisse, BP Energy, PG&E Energy Trading and DTE Energy Trading.  

Ben started his career in 1996 in risk management and short-term trading with Hydro-Quebec, the largest hydroelectric producer in North America. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.
