Darren brings over two decades of accounting and finance experience focused on preparing companies for scale, audits and public markets. In his role, Darren leads Linea’s financial planning, accounting, control environment and treasury functions. Darren previously served on the Executive Team at Cypress Creek Renewables as the SVP of Digital & Transformation and the SVP of Finance. During his tenure, he oversaw the implementation of the company's digital roadmap and led all accounting and FP&A functions from the startup phase to acquisition by investor EQT.

Before Cypress Creek Renewables, Darren was the Associate Vice President and Director of Internal Audit at American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH) where he implemented the initial Sarbanes-Oxley control environment, as part of the company’s $1B S1 filing.

Darren began his career with Creation Technologies as Sr Financial Analyst before transitioning to public accounting as a member of the Assurance Group with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he became a Chartered Accountant. Darren is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
